Greetings From Jamaica

Hey Everyone,

For the last week Bizzy Lady and I and one of our other friends spend my birthday in Jamaica. It was so amazing. We were at the Riu Palace in Montego Bay. The resort staff were the nicest people we have ever met. The were so accommodating.

It was wonderful. I concurred the Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Ricos. It was an experience I will never forget. The Dunn’s River Falls and Park is an amazing flowing falls that extends across more than 183 meters or 600 feet. It took us about 1 – 1.5 hours to climb the entire falls.

We also took the Cool Running Cruise to get to Ocho Rios.  That was so relaxing and the water is so beautiful and clear.wpid-img_20140710_162233.jpg

My birthday was July 10th and the wait staff brought me a birthday cake and sung to me. Also when we got back to our room they had the room decorated for me.wpid-img_20140710_195825.jpgwpid-img_20140710_195906.jpg

Of course quilting ideas were everywhere. These are a few that kept my mind going.wpid-img_20140707_160538.jpgwpid-img_20140707_160437.jpgwpid-img_20140707_160450.jpg

We are glad to be back but I would love to go back one day.

Until next time…..

It’s amazing what the ‘quilter’s eye’ will see while traveling, shopping, etc. The falls look fantastic and the birthday decoration must have been a real treat! Looks like you had a lovely time. Thanks for sharing!
